An effective rule-of-thumb is Global Concepts Funding only finances the acquisition of equipment with wheels or
tracks underneath it. Review the information below as well as our credit programs for a thorough breakdown of
transactions we approve.
Equipment Seller Guidelines
- For non-titled vehicles, the equipment seller must be an established equipment dealer with a dealer's license or a financial institution.
- For titled vehicles, the equipment seller must be an established equipment dealer or established business or a financial institution.
- Sale-leasebacks are not accepted.
- Auction sales are acceptable. Please contact your account manager for specifics on these types of transactions.
- Refinance transactions are acceptable under our normal guidelines. Lessee cannot appear previously on the title.
Equipment age: Assets must be ten years old or newer.
Automatically Excluded Transactions
- The following attributes automatically exclude a transaction from being financed by Global Concepts Funding:
- Any of the personal guarantors or business have a bankruptcy filed for, discharged or dismissed in the last seven years
- Individual assets are less than $15k
- All assets are on the Excluded Assets list
- All assets to be financed are more than 10 years old
- Sale-leasebacks
- Transaction is a private party sale for non-titled equipment
- Declined Transactions
- Some declined transactions have recourse options that may bring the transaction into our approval range. If you feel you have achieved appropriate recourse, please resubmit the financing request.
- The following elements do not positively or negatively affect a credit decision:
- Additional collateral
- Additional capital cost reduction (money down)
- Home or real estate ownership
- Vendor recourse
- Bank account balance
- Industry experience
- Trade references
